Paris in a Day

Sacra Couer

What would you do with one day in Paris? Where would you go, what would you do, what would you eat? This is my one day itinerary.

Montmartre

Start off your day with a pain au chocolate and cup of café crème. Then meander your way through the narrow streets of the Montmartre while taking in the street artists and beautiful architecture. When you arrive at the Sacra Coeur take a small break to savor the views of the city.

Paris

Then take the Metro from Montmartre to enjoy your lunch on the banks of the Seine with the view of Notre Dame as a backdrop. Lunch is an inexpensive picnic of baguette, brie, fruit, and a delicious Nutella crepe for dessert.

Seine

After lunch, make your way over to the Musée D’Orsay and check out the Impressionist art work and learn about the history of the museum, which used to be a train station.

Musee D'Orsay

To end the night, stop into one of the many restaurants that are around the city and enjoy a delicious meal. My idea of the perfect dinner is the simple but tasty Croque Madame.
